PAIR OF CAR DOORS FROM THE PARISIAN METRO RAILWAY Wood veneered with a sheet of metal painted red on the front and green on the back, glazed at the top, decorated on the front with a rectangular metal plaque bearing the “CMP” initials of the Compagnie du Chemin de Fer Métropolitain de Paris, set within a frame of geometric interlaced patterns in beige on a white background, along with the inscription. Metal reinforcements, latches, and handles; rubber. Sprague Thomson car, circa 1910. 189 x 62 cm. Rust, chips in the enameled plaques, signs of wear.
