WORLD’S FAIR, PARIS, 1878 CIVIL ARCHITECTURE – ENTRANCE TICKET BOOTH AT THE TOURVILLE GATE Lithograph depicting the entrance ticket booth at the Tourville Gate, designed by architect Amédée Hardy. Signed on the plate: G. Moreau, Booksellers and Publishers Auguste Boyer & Co., Rue St. André des Arts. Plate I. 1878. As seen. Height: 39.5 cm; Length: 55 cm. Slight tears on the right. The 1878 exhibition featured 16 entrances with 22 ticket windows for regular days and 8 ticket windows for additional days. The entrance at the Tourville Gate had two ticket windows.
