Cotton, printed with a map of Paris topped by the inscription “PARIS, Renault Scarf, Guide to Paris, Manufactured by E. Renault in Rouen, Indestructible Scarf,” along with a list of libraries, theaters, train stations, streetcars, winter and summer dance halls and music cafés, and the route of the riverboats, all framed by the main monuments of Paris and their historical descriptions.
It extols its merits: “Delicate yet durable, it is impervious to humidity, rain, and wind.”
