Carved panel Stained oak. Built in two pieces. Decorated in high relief with the mythological scene of Venus' triumph. In the foreground, Venus emerges from the waters riding a dolphin, next to an old man symbolizing the waters. A trumpet-playing Amur dominates the scene, while a triton carries off a nereid. Two grimacing masks complete the extremities. 19th century Total length: 90 cm - H: 25.3 cm Reassembled and panel certainly from a piece of furniture. Minor accidents.
