Model 1845 infantry officer's saber. Bronze mounting with main branch guard, from which the openwork and chased plate stands out. Cap engraved with laurel wreath. Filigreed horn spindle. Straight blade with hollow sides and gutter, marked Manufacture Nationale de Klingenthal and dated 1916. Nickel-plated iron ferrule with one strap. Total length 92 cm. France, First World War period.
