Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Brass mounting with round joint bow and small hilt branch, curved quillon. Cap decorated with laurel wreath. Wooden buttstock covered with filigree leather. Blade by the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal, dated 1831, curved with hollow sides and gutter. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard with two brass fittings, signed Manceaux in Paris on the Chappe. Total length 88 cm. France, Restoration period.
