Officer's saber model 1882. Mounted in nickel silver and horn. Oval-shaped cap attached to the ferrule, three-prong hilt with jointed arch and curved drop-shaped quillon. Filigreed horn spindle. Straight blade with gutter from the Châtellerault factory, date 1917 (37 ?). Black painted steel scabbard with one strap and symmetrical stinger. 20th century.
