Model 1845-55 infantry officer's saber. Brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, fillet joint arch, openwork top decorated with flowers, drop-shaped quillon. Wooden spindle covered with filigree horn. Solingen blade, slightly curved with throat, two gutters and counter-edge. Engraved and gilded in thirds with traces of blue.
