Engineer non-commissioned officer's sword. Brass and horn mounting. Spherical pommel topped by a spinning top. Flat jointing arch linking the plate to the engineer attributes and straight quillon. Counterplate bent to number 21 and filigree horn fuse. Straight blade with two gutters. Single-strap steel scabbard (oxidation). France, Third Republic period.
