Wood veneer and rich ornamentation of chased and gilded rocaille bronzes such as acanthus leaves, shells and a peacock connected under the dial, of violonnée form, the circular dial with Roman numerals, black Arabic numerals on white enamel cartouches, the damping decorated with a child holding a torch.
The movement signed Marchinville brothers in Geneva.
