BOX OF EMBROIDERY THREAD SPOOLS Wooden, inside containing spools of Rogez à Lille thread and bearing a lithographed label captioned "Carte rosace fil de lin qualité extra, Médaille d'or Paris 1889". Late 19th - early 20th century Height. 8 cm; Length. 25 cm; Width. 23 cm. The lid is split at the grip, the closing system is missing, the label is torn. Also included. Au Conscrit Two cardboard boxes of linen thread, one blue, the other white, containing spools in capsules and a printed paper captioned "Fil en capsule, métrage garanti dans les noirs blanc bis couleurs, exiger le mot capsule" and listing prizes at various exhibitions including Paris 1878, 1889, 1900.
