In-4°, soft ivory vellum, smooth spine titled in ink, traces of lakes (contemporary binding). Portrait (lacking), pp. [I II title] + pp. 1 to 703 (1 to 4 lacking), 704 (blank) 735 to 759 [736: privilege]. Publisher's vignette on title. Pages 705 to 734, which have not been bound into the book, were probably intended to contain the life of Messire Iacques AMYOT [...] announced on the title. Binding stained; portrait and pages 1 to 4 (A1 A2) lacking; folio A3 unbound and damaged; title soiled with ex-libris and handwritten annotations; marginal wormholes sometimes affecting the text.
