HECTOR GUIMARD (1867-1942) after ORNEMENT DE GARDE-CORPS DE BALUSTRADE D'ENTRÉE DE STATION DU MÉTROPOLITAIN, GHM FONDEUR Cast iron, in the shape of an escutcheon with plant scrolls and the letter M for "Métropolitain". Foundry GHM (Générale d'Hydraulique et de Mécanique). Marked on reverse R5 GHM 90. Reissued in 1990. Height. 75cm; Width. 55cm. The GHM foundry is the heir to the Durenne and Val d'Osne foundries.
