AUTHOR UNDETERMINED Grand Palais Beautiful photographic print depicting the entrance to the Palais d'Antin. Inked stamp of the Schwartz et Meurer company, specialized in iron construction and metalwork. This company built the gates of the Grand Palais and the Serres Monumentales for the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle. c. 1900. Height. 60cm; Width. 53.5cm. The Palais d'Antin, in the west wing of the Grand Palais, has housed the Palais de la découverte since 1937. It was used to welcome visitors to the 1900 Universal Exhibition.
