MICHOU PUPPET
Face and hands in latex, articulated mouth, body in latex, wig in hair Atelier Marie-Ange cheveux. Glasses PIERRE MARLY, virgin wool jacket OXFORD, shirt tie FORNASETTI, having belonged to Michou. Total height of the trunk: 79 cm.
Created in 2008, on an idea of the comedian, mime and humorist Sylvio Bolinio, this unique puppet of the famous cabaret owner Michou, was nicknamed by him "My twin brother".
It was made by the sculptor and puppeteer Jean-Michel Guinand and required more than 360 hours of work.
For the realization of the head of the puppet, whose articulated mouth allows him to speak and sing, a latex moulding was carried out according to the sculpture of Jean-Michel Guinand according to photographs taken of Michou under various profiles. The wig was made with real hair implanted by the Atelier de Marie-Ange, Paris, famous wigmaker of the world of cinema and television. The puppet wears a real pair of blue glasses of Michou, created by Pierre Marly, creator of glasses of stars, rue François 1er. The clothes, including the famous blue jacket, tie, shirt, shoes, offered by Michou, come from his own wardrobe. This puppet was animated on stage by Sylvio Bolinio from 2008 to 2011, on the stage of the cabaret Chez Michou, 80, rue des Martyrs in Montmartre, in a burlesque number.
It is attached. THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT bearing the autograph signature of Michel Catty dit Michou, dated June 30, 2008, authorizing Mr. Sylvio Bolinio to manufacture and operate the puppet.
