Inlaid decoration on ebony background, with rich decoration of scrolls and arabesques in reserves and nets drawing geometric patterns.
It opens with nine small drawers and a door revealing a theater.
The three upper drawers on a row, simulated, allowing to discover a compartment with a glass bottom, on the top of the cabinet.
A second compartment protruding from the top is accessible through a concealed trap door.
Italy, probably Milan, 17th century.
Ball feet, restorations, restorations, one draw knob damaged.
Base in
Turned and blackened wood of later period.
