Paris and its monuments, measured, drawn and engraved by Baltard, architect. With historical descriptions by the citizen Amaury-Duval. Work dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte. Printed by Crapelet, Paris. Two volumes in folio, one year XI - 1803, the other year XIII - 1805. Half binding, spines titled "Le Louvre". In-plano (645 x 480 mm). A dedication plate to the First Consul "Nouveau Periclès" engraved, plates drawn and engraved by Baltard. Numerous bands, vignettes and caps in the text. Bindings very damaged, spotting, stains. This monograph is also entitled the Pariseum. Architect, engraver and painter, Louis-Pierre Baltard is the father of the architect Victor Baltard.
