Large bay window. Consisting of three hinged doors, made of moulded and painted wood, supporting enamelled glass tiles decorated with flowers and rockeries assembled with lead seals, the translucent glass frame decorated with foliage scrolls. They are topped by three rectangular moulded wooden imposts supporting enamelled glass tiles decorated with palmettes and rockeries assembled with seals. Circa 1900. Three doors together: 221 x 244 cm. Three imposts, each: 74 x 80 cm. Some additions, hinges replaced. PROVENANCE. Hôtel, rue de Mogador, Paris IXe arrondissement. Louis TREZEL, ceramist, master glassmaker, decorator whose workshop was located in Levallois-Perret, is the author of the ceramic panels of the Grand Bouillon Camille Chartier (now Bouillon Racine), 3 rue Racine, du café de la Gare, 59 boulevard du Montparnasse, and the panels painted on glass paste of the restaurant Julien, 16, rue du Faubourg Saint Denis.
