Cast iron painted green, the bent faucet fitting into the upper curved part, resting on a base decorated with reeds, preceded by a horizontal flow grid. Marked A. DURENNE, Paris. Antoine Durenne's house and offices were located at 26, rue du Faubourg Poissonnière. The foundry was located in Sommevoire in Haute-Marne. A. Durenne was one of the famous founders of the Wallace fountains. NAPOLEON III period. 82 x 36.5 x 52 cm. PROVENANCE. This fountain was located inside a pavilion of the Halles Centrales de Paris.
