POST OFFICE LETTER BOX Yellow painted cast iron, simulating a small house, opening with a flap over the inscription "Postes" and a leaf with the inscription "La... levée... est faite" (missing) the inscription "La... levée... est faite" (missing), with a window to indicate the number and the day of collection, and "levées par jour", with a window to indicate the number of levees. The front of the flake roof has the inscription "RF" in a cartouche. The lamp base is gadrooned. Foundry mark in the door "L. DELACHANAL, Paris, SGDG" and, on the front, "L. DELACHANAL Paris". c. 1914. 58 x 33 x 22 cm. Repainted. Misses and rust.
