THE CORN ROTISSERIE Cast iron and sheet metal,... - Lot 360 - Lucien Paris
THE CORN ROTISSERIE Cast iron and sheet metal, cylindrical shape, with handle. Marked La Cornue. 31 x 41 x 29 cm. Missing the bottom. Albert Dupuy, perfumer, invented his first stove, the rotisserie-pastry cooker in 1908, in sheet metal and cast iron to be posed on a source of heat, marrying the shape of the vault of the Parisian metro stations which he had noticed kept the heat.
