CLÉMENCEAU GEORGES (RUE) Enamelled nameplate from rue Georges Clémenceau. Born on September 8, 1841, in Mouilleron-en-Pareds, died on November 24, 1929 in Paris, he was Chairman of the Board from 1906 to 1909 and from 1917 to 1920. First a doctor, he quickly entered politics as mayor in Paris. Deputy, senator, Minister of the Interior, he was nicknamed "The Tiger", then "Father Victory" after his unfailing commitment during the First World War and in victory. Format: rectangular, flat, with edges and ears. Lettering: white, on a red background. Process: stencil. Enamel: NC. 30 x 50.5 cm.
