*CECIL PURNELL COLLECTION ESCAPE PRIMO BABY PINK, LIMITED EDITION OF 8 PIECES REF. P11BPTC CIRCA 2021 Three-dimensional skeleton complication wristwatch with three-axis tourbillon regulator and power reserve (50 hours). Case: skeletonized in pink 'Ceraforced' (ultra-light, ultra-resistant material created by Purnell). Sapphire back, opening on the case middle at left, at noon and at 6 o'clock. Dial: skeleton, off-center with pale pink lacquered applied hour-markers, openworked hands. Movement: mechanical, cal. P11, 43 jewels, with Sphérion: unique, three-axis tourbillon, the fastest in the world, rotating in 8 seconds (inside the cage), 16 seconds (second cage) and 30 seconds (outside cage), designed in collaboration with Eric Coudray, titanium cage.
Strap: leather with velcro closure. Signed and numbered 3/8. (Operation not guaranteed). Diam. 48 mm. (mint condition, retail price CHF 390,000). Purnell is a Swiss brand, founded in 2006, that has revolutionized the tourbillon since 1801. It is also the first and only Manufacture to dedicate itself entirely to the tourbillon, equipping each of its timepieces with a tourbillon movement. The brand takes this complication to a new level of technical and aesthetic mastery. The Sphérion is a three-dimensional tourbillon that performs three different rotations on three axes, developed in partnership with Eric Coudray, grand-master watchmaker, winner of the Prix Gaïa and the man behind such great creations as Jaeger Lecoultre's Gyrotourbillon. The aesthetics of the watches are also highly innovative and modern, with the sapphire crystal protecting the front, back and case middle at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock, offering a view of the spherical tourbillon and giving the impression of a glass cage.
