BELGA Enamelled plate for Belga cigarettes. The BELGA brand was created in 1923 by the Vander Elst brothers. The name Belga comes from the currency in force at the time. Illustration: woman with two cigarettes, by Léo Marfurt (1894-1977). Lettering; black and yellow, on a red background. Format: rectangular, flat, flush, with edges. Process: stencil and screen printing. Enamel: Koekelberg, Belgium. 1953. 47 x 70 cm. Missing ears.
